SUDRAKER II & III Oil Skimmers

Sudraker oil skimmers have been designed for the removal of process or tramp oils from the surface of solution tanks. The skimmers are particularly useful with installations where solution levels fluctuate.

 

Typical applications

Wash or rinse tanks of industrial washing or de-greasing machines.

De-greasing or rinse stages of in line plating plant.

Coolant trays or machining centres.

Effluent treatment tanks.

Drainage sumps.

 

 

Typical working environment

Works on tank surfaces temperatures up to 70 deg C

Works with solution temperatures up 85 deg C

Resistant to chemically rich atmospheres. The skimmer uses chemically resistant polymers and stainless steel for all wetted parts.

Note: do talk to us regarding extreme environments as we may be able to offer installations to suit.

 

 

Typical mounting

Top mounting. The units have been designed to operate over sealed tanks, with cut-outs for the belt to protrude into the process solution.

Open topped tanks can be accommodated by using mounting brackets to secure the unit to the lip of the tank. See installation for more details.
